Growing up, I was an extremely shy person. Hard to believe, isn’t it?
I was always hesitant when it came to going up on stage especially if the act required me to speak. Speeches and debates always gave me the worst stage fright! But I did learn over the years on how to feel more in control to gain the confidence I needed, and here I am now! 💁🏻♀️
And this is something so many of us struggle with because we’re often not taught the basics on how to be more well-spoken or how to gain confidence in school… So, that’s what I’m going to share. Here’s how YOU can become more Confident!
Read these carefully:
1. Everyone is equally human.
Keep in mind that the people you think are ‘cool’ or ‘different’ are actually no different to you. You’re not the only one surrounded by doubts and insecurities.
So, the next time you see someone on social media and think to yourself that their life’s all figured out, stop yourself there. Stop thinking they’re better than you.
2. Give yourself some credit.
Always make sure to take some time out to remember the good you’ve done and all you’ve achieved. Look at how far you’ve come from maybe a year ago or two years? So, stop being so hard on yourself.
You’re doing great, just remind yourself of it more often. 🫶🏻
3. Don’t shy away from uncomfortable situations.
This is honestly the best way to overcome shyness, and this is something I practice often (sounds funny I know).
Learn to put yourself out there where you’re not comfortable, UNTIL you’re comfortable! Works like magic, and soon you’ll be confident! 😉
4. Look presentable.
This is perhaps the easiest way, and is a known fact, if you’re not liking your appearance, you’re more likely to shy away in social settings. But if you like your appearance, you’ll lean more towards the confident side, guaranteed!
5. Be easy on yourself if you make a mistake.
You’re allowed to make mistakes. Only goes on to show you’ve tried, and ive made my fair share of mistakes but that’s what’s shaped me into the person I am. As cheesy as it sounds, ‘Rome was not built in a day’.
This is how we learn and grow as humans.
6. Words only do so little.
Don’t shy away from acting. I get a business idea, if it’s feasible (and financially viable of course) I won’t overthink it. I’ll go for it. Too much planning can lead to overthinking and anxiety. Take action instead! This’ll pump your confidence.
7. Take risks and believe in YOURSELF.
Sounds scary but trust me it’s not. Break down those tasks and those dreams into smaller bits (makes it less intimidating), and get working! I know it’s scary, but you need to take risks to grow.
And lastly, tell yourself that you’re confident. Seek validation from yourself, for yourself. 🙏🏻
I hope this helps!

From which institute did you completed your ACCA?
What one should do after completion of ACCA? Like do PER or own business? We all know the job market of ACCA in Pakistan, it’s not like as it should be.
And how to choose an institute for study, should a person change frequently or stay at one, should a person study On-Campus or Online? I’ve heard alot of people saying that they changed most often but those who are new they don’t, they only go with the famous one.
The institute where I started doing ACCA made my ACCA registration but after checking myself the name they wrote is incomplete will that be a problem in future upon asking ACCA admin they said it won’t be a problem.
Please advise on starting CA – Pakistan after ACCA. I’m already working in a big4 firm. Is it worth it? What are the pros and cons of pursuing CA after ACCA?
Also, what will you prefer after ACCA
ICAEW or CA – Pakistan?

I’m doing ACCA Foundation from TMUC and its my first semester. I can’t understand anything about Financial recording transactions. It’s just been a month and only 1 month left in Exam. And i don’t find management accounting equally tough but it is less tough. I asked my teachers everytime when i don’t understand anything they try their best to make me understand each and every point but still i can’t understand anything. It’s not just happening only with me but with whole class. Everybody got failed in their 2 test I don’t know if teachers don’t know how to teach or maybe The whole class is useless.
Is ACCA worth it at the end of the day?
And please tell how to study and focus.
I just mix everything MA1 with FA1.
